summer is...

restored!

Chairlift_5 After hearing lots of rumors about how many more days it could be, our power finally came back on!  But now, I can say from experience, that a cold bath really does help with heat exhaustion. Thank you Starbucks in Webster Groves for having electrical outlets available to customers...I was able to keep a small charge on my phone for emergencies thanks to that!  And thank you Stratton's in Webster Groves for having delicious, affordable food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!  You'd think I'd be sick of it by now, having eaten so many meals there over the last few days, but I'm not - you're a new favorite for me! (Thanks Jennette for suggesting it!)

I won't have to reschedule anything as long as I can get alot of work done today, so if you have a session booked, we're still on! :)

powerless.

We have no power...no way to communicate unless I can get lucky enough to find an open computer at Kinko's.  So updates will have to wait, and image processing will probably fall behind.  If you're trying to reach us, please be patient.  It could be a few days until the power company restores power to the 450,000+ customers who lost it in the storm.  Some rescheduling might be necessary. Thank you.

Summersale Session Fees are on sale until August 15th.  Sale prices good for any session through the end of the year, as long as you book your session before August 15th!

It's also CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!  20% off Christmas Cards:

If your session was before July 15th, you can still place your card order to get the summer price.  Be sure to get your order in before August 15th.

The deadlines for placing holiday orders at the regular price are as follows:  Session Deadline October 1, 2006. Order Deadline October 31, 2006.

We will be completely booked for these sessions before the end of August, so book early!   We do not offer photo sessions for Christmas cards alone.  Cards are only available after a minimum print purchase of $350.

yummy.

I've driven by this place many times, always thinking "I've gotta try that place sometime."  Well, for those of you in St. Louis who've done the same, don't drive by next time - STOP and try it!  They have a great selection of paninis, and the gelato is SO YUMMY with a texture and flavor that make you savor every bite.  And the waffle cones are handmade there on the premises, so they actually taste as appealing as they look (a rarity in my opinion.)  I have to brag on them because I want them to stay in business a very long time, so I can keep getting my fix!  :)

Surreal.

Looking through my lens, I saw something that didn't quite look real.  The mystery tree.
